Forget the Dash! This is the new!

I wrote my first piece for this site on July 7, 2005, except it wasn’t this site or this address. This site has had several homes and domain names. From the beginning I wanted to own, but it already had an owner. I settled with, but later bought when it became available a few months ago.

In October, I started receiving messages asking me if I wanted to buy They wanted me to make an offer or they would contact someone else. Of course I wanted to buy the domain. I thought about offering $20-$30, but I knew that they would turn me down. They sent me another message a few days later asking me to go to a site and view their asking price and put in my offer. Their asking price was…$999. Holy Shit! You read that right, almost $1000. I can’t say I wanted the domain that bad. So, I didn’t bother to offer anything.

As I always do every few months, I searched Godaddy to find out if the domain was available and it was available. That was two days ago. After I applied a coupon code for $2.50, I purchased the domain, for $7.69! That’s right, I saved $991.31. What a deal! The domain had expired and no one wanted to pay that insane price for it.

So, you might be asking yourself, why should I care? Well, you can forget the dash! The dash will still get you here. Please update your bookmarks, because later I may decide to cancel the other domain names.

Here is a list of the domain names that I currently own for this site:
